Trading standards complaint against BT interference PDF Print E-mail

Campaigners against BT and the BT Vision product have changed tack.

Amateur Radio operators in the UK, who have been experiencing a large amount of interference particularly in urban areas, have established that the devices supplied by BT do not conform to EU standards EN55022.

Where as any complaint to Ofcom would be based upon interference to reserved frequencies, a complaint to Trading Standards would only require proof the unit does not conform to standard.

The complaint, if proven, could prevent the supply of the units to BT customers.
