As part of the special event initiative with Ei2GBW and GB2Ei, maritime mobile station G2YC/MM will be QRV from cruise ferry MV Julia on the Irish Sea during January and March.
Dates for activation of G2YC/MM are 25 Jan, 30/31 Jan, 1-4 March, 20/21 March and 31 March/1 April. Ei2GBW and GB2Ei, which are not allowed to operate maritime mobile, will continue land-based operations through early April 2010. Stations working the two special event stations and the maritime mobile station will qualify for the "Spirit of Inisfallen Award." See the Ei2GBW listing on http://www.qrz.com for further details. |
