As the UK Goverment aims to stop FM broadcasting in 2015, there has been calls for a "scrappage scheme" to be introduced for the over 100 million perfectly good FM radios in use.
Industry executives hope that the idea will quash a potential rebellion among FM radio listeners as the deadline for switching off the analogue radio signal approaches in a few years' time.
